![]() ![]() RULES OF ENGAGEMENTis a half-hour comedy about the different phases of male/female relationships, as seen through the eyes of an engaged couple, Adam (Oliver Hudson) and Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich), a long-time married pair, Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey (Megyn Price), and a single guy on the prowl, Russell (David Spade). As they find out, the often confusing stages of a relationship can seem like being on a roller coaster. People can describe them to you, but to really know what it's like you have to take a ride for yourself and learn from your repeated mistakes.The ensemble cast includes Warburton who is recognized for his role as Puddy, Elaine's boyfriend on the long-running series "Seinfeld" and the big blue bug of justice, "The Tick." His television wife, Price was a regular on the series "LateLine," and the "Hot Mom" in "Grounded for Life." Hudson and Kajlich are reunited after they played recurring roles as love interests in the series "Dawson's Creek." Spade rounds out the cast as the consummate bachelor whose body of television work includes "Just Shoot Me," in which he was nominated for an Emmy Award®, a Golden Globe Award® and an American Comedy Award. He was also nominated three times for an Emmy Award® as a writer on the long-running series "Saturday Night Live." In its third season, the series will continue to explore the trials and tribulations of the five principal characters. Jeff tries to accept the fact that his new friend (guest star Orlando Jones "Drumlime," "Evolution") is gay, while Audrey discovers a devious way of using the miracle of life to her advantage at work. Adam and Jennifer continue their journey to wedding bliss and end up being a host to a teenage Amish boy, who with Russell's help reaffirms his decision to go back to his Amish lifestyle. Surprisingly, Russell finds his first male assistant Timmy (guest star Adhir Kalyan "Aliens in America," "Nip/Tuck") very resourceful for his company and his love life, and continues on his journey to eternal bachelorhood.
